Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna Dalton
Hi Jenna, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started Agape Rose Photography three years ago as a family and portrait photographer! When a family friend asked me to capture their wedding day, I was nervous but I did it and I LOVED it! The energy- the emotions- the life was and is thrilling.
I quit my 9-5 in 2021 and I haven’t looked back since. Wedding photography is my true passion!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For me, the road was easy because my husband supported my choice all the way. He took over our family bills so I could just focus on being creative. Now any money I can make from my passion can go back into our family!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a photographer who specializes in weddings and couples! It’s a different ball game than other photography and I am so happy I found it! I am most proud of all the connections I’ve made and the ability to capture a wedding day on instincts alone with the experience I have gained.
I am an energetic wedding photographer who will help pose and prompt moments together so your photos look magical!
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I think an initial creative mind is most important. The gear, the couples, the business will all come with time but if you don’t have the vision to start with you won’t go as far.
