Hi Sama, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Growing up in a beautiful village, I was surrounded by gardens filled with vibrant flowers, grapevines, fig trees, and olive trees. My mother’s passion for flowers was deeply inspiring—each month, she would add a new bloom to our garden and care for it faithfully, watering it every morning and evening. Our mornings were spent outside, sipping Turkish coffee under the shade of the grapevines, soaking in the fragrance of flowers and the natural beauty around us. These cherished experiences instilled in me a profound love for floristry and inspired me to start my own business, sharing that joy and beauty with others.
What began as a hobby—creating arrangements for friends and family—quickly turned into a calling as their encouragement motivated me to take the leap into business. I immersed myself in researching floral trends and fell in love with modern flower boxes, including both fresh and preserved designs. At the same time, I wanted to honor classic preferences, so I expanded my offerings to include bouquets, flower bags, and vase arrangements.
Now, my sister-in-law and I share this passion for flowers. Together, we combine our creativity and love for floristry to craft unique arrangements, each inspired by the beauty of our roots and the joy that flowers bring to people’s lives.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. Opening a business is not easy, and spreading the word has its challenges. There’s so much to learn, and it takes time to build a presence and a loyal customer base. But we’re getting there, step by step.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is patience. Building a business takes time, and success doesn’t happen overnight. There are ups and downs, but each challenge has taught me resilience and adaptability. I’ve learned to listen to my customers, keep an open mind, and always stay true to my passion for flowers.
