Today we’d like to introduce you to Devin Cline.
Devin, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Both PJ and I have been musicians and film buffs since we were little, then attending Full Sail University in Florida to receive our degrees in audio engineering. After years of working in studios, on film sets, churches, and productions all over the country, we decided to put our heads together and create an audio company based out of our hometown of St. Louis. We are still pretty new, but have gotten a lot of great work so far and can’t wait to keep pushing forward!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road before our company was not smooth! I had to put in a lot of long and late night hours of learning on various sets and projects that were not always easy or exciting. I’m lucky to have the experience that i’ve had, and the only way to get here was hard work and passion for what we do.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are an Audio company that specializes in film and video. We offer on-set production sound services as well as post production services such as writing the music and sound for movies and video games. We are known for creating unique music and sound that immerses viewers in the world. We are most proud that we are true to ourselves, we don’t do something JUST because it’s an industry standard, we are fluid and adaptable, more interested in the passion of the project than the monetary gain.
What are your plans for the future?
We plan to hit the ground running HARD in 2025. I’ve sorted it out so that i can put a lot more hours into the company in the new year and have no signs of slowing down. I’m really excited for the youtube channel we are planning, including tips and tricks, interviews with industry professionals, and fun audio experiments.
