Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Leach.

Daniel Leach

Hi Daniel, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My original dream was a career in medicine. Like many, my dream was to be a doctor and make a difference in the lives of my patients. I grew up watching all the medical shows I could. I was on the path to making that dream come true as a premed student at Mizzou. That was until I had my first chiropractic adjustment while in school. To say it was life changing would be an understatement. After obtaining my BS in biology, I put a pause on my professional education. I just wasn’t sure that a medical doctor was my dream anymore. I had encountered something that helped me so much more than medicine ever could and it shook my confidence in traditional medicine. Fast forward several years, I married my high school sweetheart and wanted to start our life together. I couldn’t ignore my calling any longer and I started my chiropractic education at Logan University. My oldest son was born shortly thereafter and It was his traumatic birth that opened up the world of pediatric chiropractic to me. One adjustment with a very skilled and highly educated pediatric chiropractor had him sleeping better, nursing better and overall much more comfortable. It was such an incredible and instantaneous difference for my sweet boy and I knew I needed to pursue the additional education to treat pediatrics.
Fast forward again 3 years and I found myself working as an associate at a busy pediatric practice in St. Louis. I wasn’t satisfied with working for someone else as it did not allow me to be the doctor I truly wanted to me. After a little less than a year and a whole lot of prayer, I finally opened the doors to Whole Life Chiropractic where I see patients from hours old to 90 years old and every age in between. I specialize in pediatrics and perinatal which is where my passion lies. Every day is a challenge and I grow as a doctor and small business owner each and every day.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not one part of my journey, from becoming a chiropractor to owning my own practice, has been smooth. There have been many ups and downs including those in my life who were determined to prevent my success. Having no business background or business mentors, I relied on a ton of research, YouTube videos and personal recommendations to start and run my practice. I’m still trying to figure out what the heck I’m doing! But one thing that I have always done is continually poured my heart, soul and finances back into the business. My faith in Jesus Christ and the support of my incredible wife have kept me going during many low points. I feel exceedingly blessed for where I am at today and I truly believe that I am fulfilling my purpose in life!

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a chiropractor that specializes in care for pediatric and perinatal in Imperial MO. I have an associate doctor, Dr. Alyssa Green, that specializes in pediatrics and is a certified lactation consultant. We take a very personalized approach to care with longer appointment times and individualized treatment plans. With longer treatment times and more personalized care, I find that our patients have resolution of their symptoms quicker and have optimal nervous system function. Not only that but they hold their adjustments longer and they don’t need to come back as often as with typical chiropractic.

What makes you happy?
The life the Lord has provided me gives me so many moments of happiness but happiness often comes and goes. I find joy in my faith and that supersedes happiness. Seeing the changes in the lives of my patients is extraordinary and gives me the motivation to continue. My two crazy, wonderful boys and my patient wife are my support system and are the reason I get up every morning. We are also expecting our third boy in March this year and that brings me great happiness!
