Today we’d like to introduce you to Owen Pye
Hi owen, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey began in the Midwest, where I grew up in a small town and learned the value of hard work, authenticity, and community. After touring as a solo singer/songwriter, I transitioned into the world of experiential marketing, where I honed my skills in project management and event production for brands and agencies worldwide, including in the U.S., South Africa, and Turkey.
For the past five years, I’ve focused on creating and publishing compelling content for brands and clients, providing tailored solutions that align with their unique goals and values. In 2023, I formalized my work by establishing an LLC to continue building a growing list of satisfied clients.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I wouldn’t say my journey has been smooth or easy, but it’s been obvious next steps that I’ve taken. When I decided to leave my stable corporate job in 2023, that was a challenge financially with having a family of 4 kids. But I’d hit a ceiling as far as growth and creative opportunity. The setting I was in wasn’t honoring to me or my values.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I most consider myself a Video Producer. I’m not the best cinematographer, audio engineer or lighting expert, but I know how spearhead an idea from start to finish and bring stories to life. I’m very bad at promoting accolades or personal accomplishments, but I still enjoy doing what I do everyday and love sharing that with new clients everyday!
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
First and foremost, I want people to call me when they have a need because they feel safe and heard. When that trust has been earned, it’s important that I keep my credibility in handing them off to the right person, even if that’s not always me. I hope to build a reputation for the person people can call anytime that the idea hits and we can figure out the details along the way.
