Today we’d like to introduce you to Scott Nyberg.
Hi Scott, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I love my roots, but growing up in a small town in Nebraska, there wasn’t a clear path out of the rural farming community to a profession outside of farming or other manual labor jobs. Believe me, I know farming is important but I knew early on that wasn’t for me. I did, however, learn the art of entrepreneurship because farming is just that.
What I was able to take from my roots helped me establish multiple small companies that allowed me to do what I do best in the area of creative marketing, ice cream and networking. What I learned “on the farm” was hard work and the drive to do things beyond my own negative thoughts. It hasn’t been easy but today, gratifying.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Many years were tough because of self-doubt, depression and the struggle of consistency and really just wanted I really wanted to do in life. I didn’t listen to the people who cared for me the most and I was prideful in many areas which didn’t all help getting me to where I am today. When I started listening to the people who knew things much better than me, I saw growth happening and consistency followed.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I spend my time in three different areas:
Fusion Media Marketing – A full-service creative marketing company that helps businesses in the areas of design, website design/development, web hosting, videos and animations. Fusion Media works because we are MARKETING AWESOME! at fusionmediaworks.com.
Pudgy Udder Ice Cream Co. – We make homemade ice cream that has dairy, non-dairy, gluten free options. You can buy online at pudgyudder.com or call for events and other gatherings for family or business functions.
No. 9 Networking – I am a co-founder of No. 9 Networking (no9networking.com) and feel that the knowledge of an individual and their business ethics instills confidence which creates an ultimate attitude of integrity in business relationships producing growth through referrals. We now have over 80 businesses in No. 9 Networking and growing.
What’s next?
The future is a curious thing and although I would love to make ice cream full-time, to get there takes a strategy and I am working on forming that right now. Right now, my passion is to help exceed business owner’s expectations in marketing and education and this won’t change until I have a full plan on what makes sense to move forward.

I went to college with Scott and actually was his roommate! We were both wide eyed young kids trying to make our mark and play football, but it didn’t take me long to realize Scott had a heart bigger than he was and his honesty and integrity were top notch as well! No matter what this man ends up doing in the future he will set the bar high,
