Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacy Hayden and Carrie Andreas.
Hi Stacy & Carrie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Eight years ago, a good friend and I were chatting at a preschool playdate about how great it would be to find a way to utilize our common love for fashion to earn some extra money. We started off by repurposing vintage jewelry, spending our weekends at flea markets and learning the ropes of online selling via outlets like Etsy, Facebook, etc. As we sold jewelry, though, we were often asked by our customers about the clothing we were wearing; and so it only seemed natural to transition into offering that as well. That’s when we discovered our niche- finding trendy, quality clothing for other women like us.
The most rewarding part has been offering this online community to positively support each other in other ways, too. An amazing by-product of this small boutique has been this online community of positive women to support and share with each other that we have grown through social media with our Facebook VIP page. We have been very lucky to find other women, Janette, Jenny and Meghan, to represent our growing brand. We have weekly live sales on our Facebook page and in our app to feature our new arrivals. Our clothing and accessories are now offered through social media sites, our website and our app.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road. When you are selling on social media, there are always challenges – the ever-changing algorithm on Facebook and Instagram make it difficult to be seen on social media. Also, coming up with enough content weekly is challenging.

The most rewarding part of the business has been the community of women that we have got to know and love. We love seeing women post pictures of themselves in our clothes feeling beautiful and supporting each other.
