Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Ealy.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Well, I was born and raised in St. Louis, was adopted by my mother and father. Lost my father at 5, my mother raised me. I was incarcerated at 16, got into juvenile detention. Got released of papers at 18. By 21 was heroin-addicted. Got incarcerated again in 2017 for protecting a loved one.was released in 2019.
Later that year, started taking my career seriously. I’ve been singing all my life, and I will elaborate on all this in the interview.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Incarnation, loss of my father, weight gain, 288lbs, and heroin addiction.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a Singer/Songwriter/Dancer/Performer. I am known for all these things and I am most proud of the ability to take my struggles and pain and help inspire the world. What sets me apart is I KNOW who am and I studied Michael Jackson and Chris Brown and I AM the next big entertainer like the. That’s why I call myself “The Apprentice”
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love everything about my city, I just hate the confusion and lack of opportunities to be n the entertainment business because we have SO MUCH TALENT. But it’s also a lot of violence and the new generation needs to understand and know u don’t have to be violent to be cool and that’s y my story, my music, and who I am are so important.
Plus the people who talk about the violence really didn’t have a choice, but these kids don’t know the difference. My song “Dangerous” highlights these points.
