Meet Tiarra Adams

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiarra Adams.

Hi Tiarra, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Before Viva La Vegan became a business it all began with me coming across some information about how a plant-based diet can clear brain fog back in 2018. I challenged myself to try a vegan/plant-based diet for 21 days. I cold turkey cut out all meat and dairy instantly (I highly wouldn’t recommend that unless you’re really headstrong). As time went on my body started eliminating toxins on, I started having my energy, I felt happier, no pains…fast forward four years, two boys later, still vegan/plant-based. Throughout the years I have learned how to create many dishes ranging from salads and desserts to full entree and sides dinner platters. As time went on, I developed a love to heal the body using plant medicine/food. I know what this lifestyle change has done for me and I want the universe to experience this!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Oh gosh no it is not easy. There were times where I really wanted to give up because I was caught up with thinking nobody is going to eat vegan food, all the steps it takes to start the business and get it rolling, hoping that people support what I have to offer…I had to realize that if there was no purpose of this lifestyle my Creator wouldn’t have it chosen for me.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I create all types of delicious food. I wake up early in the am to make strawberry muffins or gluten-free blueberry pancakes. Then here comes lunch…a wonderful Super Greenz salad alongside some fresh-squeezed juice. Next, time for dinner. Maybe we’ll have some vegan lasagna with homemade ricotta cashew cheese and walnut “ground beef”, basil garlic bread, and vegan Csar Salad! Lastly, the sweets because most of my desserts are sugar-free!!! That is practically a rundown of what I do with my creativity, I think of what it is I want to eat and create it plant-based. I am known for my vegan cooking. When I held my first brunch event and sold out on top of all my pans being cleaned out that’s when I realized I found my passion in serving my people homemade whole plant-based food. I am most known for my vegan cuisine and golden heart! What sets me apart from others is I take my time to read ingredients and stay away from process and soy foods. You can’t run from it all but we try our best to serve with high-quality ingredients with no meat substitutes!

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
I advise everyone to find a mentor and to network. Although I don’t quite have a mentor, I have people in my life who believe in my vision and support me! To have someone with you side by side guiding you is such a stress reliever. Maybe it’s a reason why I am learning a lot of business skills on my own. So far, I do ask questions when I am not sure. I call any offices or businesses I need help from, YouTubeeee and Google of course, making business owners my friend. Birds of the same feather flock together. You’ll learn so much along the way!
