Today we’d like to introduce you to Lindsay Hayward.
Hi Lindsay, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I played basketball for the University of Virginia on an athletic scholarship after four years of varsity in high school; I have been 6’9″ since 13 years of age. I started my wrestling career in 2008 and became one of the top recruits in the country, signing with WWE for a short while in 2010. In 2011, I moved to Los Angeles, CA, to pursue an acting career. Since then, I have been on shows such as My Giant Life and Grey’s Anatomy and filmed movies such as R100. After 3 spinal surgeries (with complications) for chronic back issues in the past 3 years, I’m walking again and working full-time as a Patient Care Consultant in Missouri. Born and raised in NorCal, I’m glad to see marijuana recreationally legalized in Missouri in 2023 and also in professional sports. I believe cannabis is God’s plant.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There have been some struggles, but I prefer to focus on the positive highlights of my life. I have had my share of ups and downs, but I have been blessed with a healthy child and memorable life. I’m newly single.
Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am proud of my Guinness World Record, standing at 6’8 1/4.” I am the Tallest Actress in a Leading Role, the tallest in the entire world! It feels great wearing that crown because everyone asks me how tall I am and I can just refer to my record.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
I have previously lived in Las Vegas for 3 years and didn’t gamble in the casinos unless friends wanted. I don’t see the point in spending money on gambling, investing in stocks is different.
