Check Out Anna and Daniel Clark’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna and Daniel Clark.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We met in school at the University of Missouri – St. Louis while pursuing degrees in Graphic Design.

We quickly found ourselves laughing, creating, and collaborating. Before you know it we got hitched, settled down, and started a family. Since then, we’ve been taking our shared love of all things whimsical, colorful, and playful and bringing it to life through our work.

We use our combined knowledge of illustration, design, and motion to create exciting work for our clients.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Raising two young children and working isn’t always the easiest. We try and strike the right balance between family and work time.

It’s also easy to find yourself in a creative rut sometimes.

That’s when having two of us comes in handy! We always encourage each other to take a break from the computer or create personal work that helps to inspire.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We are known for illustrations that are fun, playful, and whimsical.

We love bringing interesting color palettes, nods to mid-century design, and a touch of nostalgia to everything we do.

Overall, we just want to put a smile on everyone’s face.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
We’re married! And overall working together comes pretty easy to us.

Most expect our personal and working relationship to not mesh well together but it’s actually quite the opposite. We know to never take critiques personally.
