Check Out Charity Ragain’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Charity Ragain.

Hi Charity, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
After nearly 20 years of existing in an unhealthy and toxic marriage, one that was steeped in addiction, and emotional and verbal abuse, I finally gathered the courage and strength to walk away. It was around this time that I also experienced a spiritual awakening. This awakening was the catalyst for profound change in my life, I began exploring different modalities to support my healing on all levels: emotionally, spiritually, physically, and mentally.

My seeking for healing was not only for the divorce but for a lifetime of living with dysfunction, trauma, and pain. In the past, I had tried the “western” way of dealing with emotions and life’s situations only to find myself returning to a dysfunctional state after a time of reprieve. This time around I knew I wanted to get to the core, the root cause of the issues, and heal them once and for all. So, I began to seek out alternative healing modalities that would do just that.

On my path I discovered multiple methods that allowed me to work through years of pain, trauma, core wounds, and limiting beliefs that were holding me back, keeping me stuck, and keeping me from living the life I was destined to live. Along the way, I also learned to tune into my intuition as well as trust myself on a deep and profound level.

And it was because of this plus a growing connection to a source greater than myself that I took a leap of faith. In April of 2021, I was divinely guided to leave my growing and lucrative business as a stylist and jump in with both feet into the healing arts. I did just that and I haven’t looked back!

I now use everything I have learned firsthand, healed from, been through, and integrated, to support women who find themselves on their own healing journey. After nearly 45 years of living in discomfort, drama, depression, and just feeling not satisfied with life. I finally feel liberated and in tune with who I am, I feel complete and whole. I can honestly say I love myself and that hasn’t always been the case. I want this self-love, forgiveness, and liberation for others as well. It’s that good!

I will end with this, life is meant to be lived – not in fear or pain but in love and joy. I believe we all have a deeper calling and soul mission on this earth and sometimes we need the help to peel back the layers, to expose what needs to be healed so we can shine our light and live a life that is truly miraculous!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My biggest struggle currently is the technical side of things. Promoting myself/marketing, adding material to my website, creating material because I’m not techy. If I could just show up in my gifts that would be awesome.

My next mission is to create automated systems that can help more people.

Before that my struggle was believing in myself. I wanted to launch this in 2018 but I wasn’t ready. Then I wanted to launch it in 2020 but once again something came up. So I have learned that it really is in my higher powers’ timing not my own, and it is all unfolding as it should.

Lastly as an entrepreneur fear can creep up but I am taking each day as it comes and once again trusting the process.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My passion is supporting women on their journey to wholeness. I do this by offering Experiential Healing. I lead women through different experiences to receive healing in a non-traditional way. I specialize in Sound Healing, Energy Healing, and Womb Healing.

What’s unique in my offerings is my outdoor experiences. This is where I lead women on a guided hike where we reconnect to the earth, From this simple yet powerful act of emerging ourselves in the energy of nature I take them through deep meditation, incorporate breathwork with journaling prompts and I lead them through a releasing ceremony which brings about a profound and unique healing experience. This outdoor therapy releases depression, anxiety, stagnant energy, and even pent-up emotions from years past and so much more.

I am a Spiritual Life Coach for women as well. I am trauma-informed and specialize in co-dependency, emotional/verbal abuse, low self-esteem, narcissist/empath dynamic, and spiritual awakenings. I incorporate inner-child work/healing, tapping, somatic therapy, breathwork, and energy work to help integrate the healing done within a session. It is really a mind, body, and spirit approach.

They are all interconnected.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
To work with me you can check out my offerings at my website and schedule there. I do most sessions and events in the St. Louis area, but also have traveled and can do sessions remotely.

I love collaboration! I love doing life with others so I am very much interested in joining creative minds and forces for others to experience and benefit from.

As for support, I am building my business at this point so sharing with others about me, my mission, and what I do is appreciated. Also, sharing my posts on social media, and joining me in the offerings that I create is super fun and adds momentum and energy to what I do.

I would love support as I mentioned earlier in getting the support for the technical side of things.
