Check Out Louboutin Kendoll’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Louboutin Kendoll.

Hi Louboutin, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Believe it or not Graphic Design wasn’t always a passion of mines. I honestly didn’t know much about it. My freshman year of high school I took an art class as an elective, so I wouldn’t have to take a foreign language. What start off as just something random class turned into some I would began to love and continue with throughout my time in high school. My senior year I had learned all about different artist and had decided I wanted my career choice to be a Graphic Designer. After graduating high school, I went on to get my Associate’s in Graphic Design and became a freelance artist.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. I have had many obstacles I had to overcome along the way. The first 2-3 years as a freelance artist was my toughest because I wasn’t really making any money. I had began to doubt myself and question if this was really for me. I wanted to quit so many times but I stuck at because I truly did enjoy what I did. And after such a bumpy road things began smooth out and I started to see income.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a Freelance Graphic Designer. I do Logos, Business Cards, Invitations, Flyers, Album/Magazine Covers, Book Covers, T-Shirt designs, and etc. I specialize in logos and flyers. I’m most proud of the recognition I’ve received from being a Graphic Designer. I’ve done magazine interviews as well as a radio interview. I really love how interested people are to meet me and hear my story. That lets me know my career choice was worth all the highs and lows.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
An important lesson I’ve learned through the Covid-19 Crisis is that regardless what’s going on people are still in need of product.
