Check Out Ra’Janea Prude’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ra’Janea Prude.

Hi Ra’Janea, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I began working on amazing embrace in 2018. I was in a place where I knew my purpose was bigger, I wanted to make a difference, and I knew I sure wanted to impact women. I’ve always been pretty preserved. I struggled with low self-esteem as a child mainly because I had a voice but didn’t know how to use it. I feel that we all have struggled with that at a point. I created an Instagram page that did not focus on followers and likes at the time, and after that, I started to map out what the face of my brand would look like and who I wanted to relate to more so who could I relate to. I started to create quotes daily that soon turned into something people would repost and give me feedback on. I still felt the need to say more. A quote can mean a lot, but words are transcribed way stronger through conversation, then came my podcast. Girl, let me brace myself.

Today, my platforms have allowed me to reach many people. Although it’s truly never about how many people like or share online for me, I deeply care about seeing movement out in the world. If sharing my thoughts and transparency about my many journeys in life can help someone else maneuver a little bit better, I want to continue to create those spaces.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a smooth road?
This road has not been smooth; entrepreneurship is pivotal in many areas. It’s nothing you can wake up one day, say you’re going to do, quit your job, and wait to see what’s going to happen. It’s a passion and pursuit every single day. Creating content but staying in an authentic space realistic enough to get through to people is life-changing; it convicts you to want better, always to need to do better. I’ve experienced a lot of losses in my 25 years, all so close to me. Without God, I know I would not have been where I am today. Saying that to say, so many distractions can easily knock you off your square. I see it so often. That’s why I desire to help with my voice and the space I have created. Hope needs a village of belief behind it.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I cultivate change through inspirational language. I created a platform on Instagram and through a podcast called Amazing Embrace. I am most proud of my ability to have been resilient through so many things. I want that for all of us. I could tell you what sets me apart, but I can also say how much I want women to be together in more spaces that look like peace and happiness.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
God deserves all of my praise. My mom shaped me into such a strong woman. It’s crazy how she made life look so easy for my sister and me growing up. Thank you, God, my family, and friends, who pushed me forward in everything and pulled me up when I was about to fall. I could keep going because everyone should know it takes a village.
