Today we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Wahl.
Hi Aaron, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have two passions in life after my Faith and my Family: helping families implement The Chiropractic Lifestyle and Serving the Community. My passion for The Chiropractic Lifestyle started due to the profound health improvements I experienced. My health was not great starting at a very young age.
At age 6, I was placed on heavy ADHD medications due to my “uncontrollable energy and concentration issues”. I was chronically sick resulting in antibiotic use multiple times per year and years of different antifungals.
Due to other health problems with a family member, my parents were introduced to Chiropractic. I went to my first Chiropractic visit when I was 12 years old, following a football injury, and then again as a freshman in high school due to a wrestling injury. It was as a freshman when my parents started taking me to the Chiropractor regularly due to my year around athletics. Through this journey, I also changed the way I was eating and started taking vitamins and supplements. It was starting at this point that everything changed for me.
I stopped getting sick regularly which resulted in me no longer “needing” any medications. My behavior and concentration improved so much that I was able to excel in college-level classes by the time I was a senior. While attending Logan College of Chiropractic, I had a realization that by improving and maintaining my spinal health through Chiropractic care, continuing to exercise regularly, eating properly, and taking the correct supplements and herbs I was able to create a healthier version of myself.
I call this approach to health The Chiropractic Lifestyle. Serving the community is my other passion which has culminated, at this point in my life, in me serving as a Councilman for the City of Chesterfield and founding a Chiropractic program for Veterans in Need through The Kaufman Fund.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
An amazing life is not built on smooth roads. With great passion comes great emotions and those emotions can become overwhelming at times. I also have Entrepreneurial ADD which has caused me to lose focus in the past.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Wahl Family Chiropractic?
I started Wahl Family Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO in 2013 and am in the process of rebranding to The Chiropractic Lifestyle Center. I am a “whole body” Chiropractor that focuses on checking and adjusting the whole body. This includes checking the spine, TMJ/jaw, cranium, and muscular system every single visit. I use a myriad of Chiropractic techniques and soft tissue techniques that allow me to assess and adjust the body in different ways. This means that I have more “tools” to help more people.
I use a system of analysis that allows me to track whether or not a person actually NEEDS an adjustment on a visit, as well as, a tracking system for posture and spinal health. Through this system, I am able to objectively show how much a person has improved and am able to determine if there are any underlying inflammatory conditions present which may require specific nutritional support and dietary changes. We are in network with many insurance companies and we do offer wellness plans for those that want to get healthier AND stay healthier.
I am most proud of my reputation. I am a 5-star office on Google and Facebook and I have been trusted with board positions on different non-profits and the privilege of helping to run the City of Chesterfield.
We’d love to hear what you think about risk-taking.
I am definitely a risk taker. I have started more businesses than I care to admit and I have failed at most of them. That being said, I will take those learning experiences all day over getting to the end of my life with a bunch of “what ifs” or “I wonder”. I have gladly accepted every “NO” because I know it is one step closer to the “YES!”
