Community Highlights: Meet David Lazar of The Drive4Five Network

Today we’d like to introduce you to David Lazar.

Hi David, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I work hard for everything in life and never give up. I set goals and achieve them. I have been able to grow a successful business because I take risks and strive for nothing but the best. I have used social media and the internet to grow my business. Our website and Instagram account are very successful and this has helped us grow.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not always been smooth. I have struggled as competitors grow and have had to deal with adversity along the way. Growing up, I wasn’t handed anything, so I had to work hard to achieve my goals.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Over the last four years, Drive4Five has successfully built a model for fostering a community around a sports team in the New York Islanders and New York Mets market. Drive4Five is the response to the transition happening in sports and every other industry to more personalized targeted social-media-friendly content.

I increase digital and in-person engagement by combining unique online content with a streamlined, in-person fan experience. Consumers, communities, and franchises all win. Using this model, I am looking to grow Drive4Five into new markets, and below are achievable business milestones for the company.

What’s next?
I would like to launch a ticket store through social media to respond to season tickets holders struggling to sell tickets. I want to continue to grow our website and social media accounts.
