Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Speiser
Hi Jennifer, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story began with my own struggle with acne which lead me to aesthetics and makeup artistry. Being from Boston I had the privilege of graduating from Elizabeth Grady school of Esthetics in 2004. As my career evolved by desire to learn more combined with my background in dogs helped me want to develop my artistic eye and go further in science which lead me to nursing. Becoming a nurse injector gave me the opportunity to help people feel better in a new capacity and combine my knowledge with the skin and facial anatomy. I’m now a nurse practitioner who focuses on the patients internal health to help people with longevity and anti aging.
My husband and I took our backgrounds and joined forces 10 years ago – we created precision fitness and medspa in 2014. His background is fitness and nutrition. We both have the desire to help others look and feel their best from the inside out. In addition we wanted to have a group of professionals who feel the same way and we are blessed to have an incredible team. As we embark on 10 years of being in business, we feel so grateful
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Oh gosh no! But that’s life and that’s what makes entrepreneurship what it is. There’s an ebb and flow to business and there are seasons. Sometimes you question whether you’re going in the right direction but if you stay honest, aware and open to change you can persevere. We have made it through a lot of tough times but the key is to learn from everything and never let a crisis go to waste. Life doesn’t stop either- I personally have had challenges in regards to trying to manage the business while going through school and other life events. That’s where having a strong partner and team to rely on really help to carry the weight. We also made it through Covid and what a blessing that was. I’m grateful for all the experiences and support we’ve had along the way.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We focus on whole body health. We are comprised of 3 different departments- Fitness, aesthetics and medicine. At Precision, we offer a variety of cutting-edge, research-based medical services and products so that you can look, feel, and be your best self.
We offer aesthetic services that cater to those who want a more natural option as well. I’m proud to say we stay current on the regenerative options. In addition to have a team who combined has over 40 years of experience. We work in collaboration to ensure we get to the root cause of any problem- for example we offer lab work to determine what may be causing skin conditions such as acne or melasma, or puffy under eyes, to help improve hormones and medical weight loss. We also love to help others learn and believe education is key!
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I think I’d have to say being determined and I have this deep desire to be the best I can and never stop learning
