Community Highlights: Meet What’s New In Da Lou?

Today we’d like to introduce you to What’s New In Da Lou?

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Started doing interviews in my garage at home with friends in January 2020, being inspired by other YouTube channels and podcasts and wanting to the platform that music artist and businesses can come to and tell their stories. I’m on my way to 1300 subscribers and now have over 140 interview videos with different public figures throughout St Louis and out of St Louis.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
You have your good days and bad days. Struggles I deal with, gaining credibility as a blogger, dealing with an unprofessional artist. Trying to make it in a city where people focus on popularity and not talent, just to name a few but for the most part, I love what I do and I’m accepting what comes with being a blogger.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business is really keeping you updated on “What’s new in da lou” from sports fashion music politics news. You name it I cover it. I plan on being the #1 go-to for all types of promo. What sets me apart from people who do what I do is that I’m not chasing fame or clout and I really got love for the culture. The positive impact I’m making in the community is something I’m proud of. I do free promo, but I charge for camera work and videos.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Always have a backup plan. Don’t depend on a job.
