Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberly Adeyinka.

Hi Kimberly, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
I started my journey in 2018 with a logo I had created and was in love with it. I was stuck with no direction of what I really wanted to do and how I wanted to be presented to the world. I only knew that it was something inside of me that was waiting to be cultivated. I received so many suggestions from others for a clothing boutique, stylist, blogger and the list goes on and none of those things resonated with me to explore deeper.

Working in Corporate America my visions would continue to grow but the lack of discipline kept me from reacting.

So I started my #selflove journey, no right or wrong way, but just seeing things for what they are! Not altering the reflection, but perfecting my life, layer by layer and Kimtique Eyewear is here! I always wore frames, from a little girl I had the boldest frames ever. My love for eyewear continued to grow and I became “The Girl with the Glasses”. and it clicked… It was the glasses the entire time. I had a strong background in entrepreneurship. I teach financial literacy and serve on the board of YBK (Young Biz Kidz) teaching kids entrepreneurship and financial literacy. So the foundation had already been set.

I’m 4 months in with Kimtique Eyewear and it’s been one of the most rewarding things I’ve done in life. I consider myself a very strategic person and things have fell in line for me as if I have been doing this for years.

The goal is to become a household name for eyewear and for women and men to feel joy, confidence and fashionable while wearing my frames. I am your eyewear consultant!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I consider myself fortunate! Kimtique Eyewear just fits me! So when I think about challenges I think about my how to make sure I have the best inventory for my Glasses Snobs, I think about how to name them appropriately so that each frame has a positive name that has meaning and that my clients can relate to and feel empowered in. I am always thinking of ways to make Kimtique Eyewear better than what it is currently and prioritizing my ideas to not get ahead of myself. Time is always a challenge! I am learning the true definition of entre-work-life balance. lol.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have been in banking for over 15 years, I am currently a Bank Manager. It has really helped me on this journey. Also working with Young Biz Kidz has been a wealth of knowledge for me. Although we are teaching kids about branding, business proposals, profit/loss, and all things entrepreneurship I was also learning myself. It prepared me for this moment today and I’m thankful.

I am most proud of taking the steps to develop Kimtique Eyewear! I am proud of pushing the lack of self discipline out of the way and seeing my way forward to this journey I’m on. I’m proud of the feedback, and compliments of my labor. I am uberly proud of the way my clients transform when they try on a pair of Kimtique Eyewear! I can see a shift in their body language or a shift in their posture. It’s an amazing feeling! I am extremely proud to bring my bestie Nikia Jackson on this eyewear journey with me and how she and my team represents Kimtique Eyewear when interacting with clients!

What sets me apart from others is that I am not just selling eyewear.. I am selling an experience!

My collaboration wishlist consists of Ambassadors, Affiliates, Optometrist, Specialty Boutiques, and Stylist. The support is when you like, share, comment and refer your friends and family to Kimtique Eyewear!
