Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Ringle.
I’ve always loved the idea of food trucks. I am a foodie and I wanted to start my own business in the food industry somehow. Once I started researching the food trucks in the St. Louis area, the ideas I had put together for my food truck just started to fall into place. I designed my menu and truck layout, and soon after bought an empty step van. A friend of mine flew out from California and we built my food truck from scratch. I started with serving my friend’s neighborhoods and small local businesses. In the spring of 2021, I joined the 9 Mile Garden food truck garden in Affton. With the exposure from serving at 9 Mile Garden and the help and support of my A Team.. my business has grown immensely. I am extremely grateful.
Besides the down time from the Covid shutdown, everything has been going relatively smooth. Once I started putting my plan in motion, everything seemed to fall into place, from the equipment supplier to the vinyl wrap company. Everyone has been amazing. I was also very lucky to meet some great people in the restaurant business, who wanted to work on the truck alongside working their full-time jobs. I have a great team!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
Everyday I am thinking of different ways to serve food that is fun! I serve chicken, pork, and beef sliders with different toppings that you wouldn’t usually get at a restaurant. We will soon be serving loaded fries with amazing toppings as well. Cooking and eating fun food with friends and family is hard to beat.
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me in this business is that customers enjoy our food as much as we enjoy making it.
