Hi Tre, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in the church choir; this gave me thrill of performing. I’ve been writing songs since I was 7. Once I was high school age I started recording in home studios.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Becoming the artist I am today came with the struggles of being shy and network. As far song writing it became easier after I embraced being my authentic self.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in freestyle song writing. I can create a full song with out writing down my thoughts. I am proud that I have assisted artist in there song writing process. I currently have writing credits on a song from Alexia Simone’ and Minah Jay. Even with these songs these are my freestyle thoughts. I feel set apart because I’m versed on a plethora of topics and emotions so there is no song that I can’t contribute to on some level.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I’ve found it easier to network in small spaces first. Once you master working a small room you can step up to a bigger one.
