Exploring Life & Business with Meghan Robinson of Stormi’s Dogtique

Today we’d like to introduce you to Meghan Robinson.

Hi Meghan, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a passion for animals. I went to college for 2 years studying to become a veterinarian, and when that didn’t go as planned I ended up taking some time off from school and launched Stormi’s Dogtique. I decided to name my business after my dog Stormi.

She holds a very special place in my heart as she helped me overcome my mental health struggles while I was away at school. Stormi’s Dogtique is my way of showing my dedication to becoming my own boss and a business owner while continuing to express my passion for animals in a different way.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
As everyone knows, when you first start out with your business, things are very slow. So far it has definitely been a learning experience for me, but I know I have a lot more work to do to make my business the best it can be.

Storm’s Dogtique has allowed me to network and connect with other business owners, gain insight into the business world, and have a little fun and playtime on the side with pet owners and their pets.

We’ve been impressed with Stormi’s Dogtique, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Stormi’s Dogtique is a boutique for dogs (for now) selling clothing and accessories. You can shop cute little tees for your pups and stylish collars/leashes for your fur baby that you won’t find at big companies.

One thing I am most proud of with Stormi’s Dogtique is the amount of support I get from my family, but especially from complete strangers, that means a lot to me because every day I work hard and strive to get my business out there by passing out business cards, sharing on social media, and even pop up shops.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
There are a few ways people can reach out to me for collaborations or simply just want to support me. You can follow us on social media platforms Facebook and Instagram. You can also send me a direct email and I’ll be more than happy to work with you!
