Exploring Life & Business with Nathan Ferguson of Ferguson Coaching

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nathan Ferguson.

Hi Nathan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I came back from Afghanistan realizing I had never planned this far ahead. I had not given a single thought to what would happen AFTER combat. As an Infantryman in the Army, I’d been hyper-focused on training my Soldiers, gaining fire-superiority and doing war. I didn’t realize I’d have to deal with all the crap I’d avoided, numbed, denied, or otherwise tried to out-pace with fitness, professional success and the art of busyness. Because after all, I was trained to advance forward, no matter the cost.

The first morning stateside, I had a flashback. I woke up experiencing Afghanistan but knowing somehow it was fake; but so real. That set the tone for the next decade.

Outwardly, I was very successful. But inwardly, I was numb. None of the success or relationships mattered; I was completely dry. But yet, I was supposed to be happy because I was alive, had all my fingers and toes, and my whole life in front of me.

Time marched on, I became a Deputy Sheriff. The problems only became more apparent. Meanwhile, my Soldiers kept dying; one was murdered, then another killed himself. Still more stalled-out and just couldn’t seem to keep their lives together.

One day it hit me: the pain of facing my problems head-on was less than the pain of staying the same. I’d hit rock bottom. I felt I had nothing. Internally I was on fire so what was there to lose if I actually turned around and dissected my problems to their very root. I figured I’d either die or succeed.

So I went back to school. Became a therapist for combat vets. Began discovering some bewildering pieces to my puzzle; while helping others facilitate the same in themselves.

Along the way, I found traditionally psychology useful but limiting. I didn’t know what to do so I started probing other areas of Human Performance.

I found energy healing, specifically Pranic Healing. In the first minutes of receiving Pranic Healing, a major health issue was healed. One that I’d battled since returning from Afghanistan – which teams and years of doctors couldn’t solve.

As much as my former Infantry and former Deputy mind wanted to reject that experience, the proof was in the medical results. The irrefutable fact was living inside my body and giving me pieces of my life back.

So I dove in. Completely immersed myself in the healing art. And began to heal my mind and emotions, reprogramming my subconscious with it.

This eventually led to applying it to my combat vet clients. Years later, I’ve opened up a whole coaching business centered around targeting the subconscious cesspools of limitation through energy healing and meditation to deliver massive impacts to my client’s lives.

You see, the average person has about 60,000 thoughts per day. Eighty to ninety percent of them are recycled. Meaning, the average tone of any thought we have isn’t too different than the ones we had yesterday, and last month, last year, etc.

It’s as if these programs, challenges and adversities we face are internal mountains you have to summit. Through energy healing, you can turn those mountains more into hills and create massive, more complete and permanent change in a fraction of the time. And without a lot of pain – since you don’t have to, for example, discuss a trauma for it to be targeted, engaged and removed.

In this way, you begin to live life by design, not by default. To live life on purpose, with purpose, and not on accident.

This is a Powerful Pathway to Self-Mastery and Resiliency. You conquer the world by conquering yourself. You can allow your environment, your culture, society, your families biases to control who you are, or you can take your power back and unleash your true greatness.

All the tools you will ever need are within you. I am here as a facilitator to help you access those and become who you truly are.

This isn’t about you healing the broken pieces of you – this is about removing the layers of crap, the old ways of thinking, feeling and being, the ways which served their purpose and helped you survive, but are not outdated and in dire need of updating. This all allows the real, true, powerful you to step forward and take greater and greater action.

If you feel lit up by this, reach out and let’s see if we’re a good fit. Your whole life is waiting to be fueled by the true you.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Not at all. And, is it ever for anyone?

PTSD chased me night and day. It infiltrated my sleep, my imagination, and relationships. It ravaged all areas, leaving me numb, miserable and dark.

I was faced with a choice: take massive action or slip away into the darkness.

I chose massive action, of course. And began an inner walkabout which took me to the depths of my soul where I could truly be reborn. I began to design my life on purpose and with purpose; facilitating the same with thousands of others over the years.

The goal is always the same:

Deliver the most impact in the shortest amount of time. I’m in this to help people change their lives. To dive into the subconscious and remove their limitations, all those negative, less-than beliefs. All the themes of inadequacy and lack of self-worth (which is often at the root of many personal issues).

To produce massive clarity which always precedes massive, effective, result-producing action. To help people rally and take back their life and their power. For them to be a pillar in their own lives, in their families, communities, in their professions and even to humanity. To be an increasing asset to all people, they come into contact with. This is the goal. This is the mission. This is my passion. This is my life. And it’s awesome.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
People don’t understand how truly powerful and inspiring they are.

I was never a fan of history. But over the years, I’ve learned I find personal histories riveting. Each person has pain. Each person suffers. Each person has goals, aspirations, desires. Each person deserves to live and to thrive. To have a massively meaningful life. It’s funny…”meaningful” or “to be full of meaning.” When you look at the research and lived lives of people – people derive meaning from…adversity. But adversity is one of the things they most often avoid. Or they shrink to.

By blending the best energy healing tools and techniques with the best psychology and even spirituality has to offer, you can tap into your greatness at a much more rapid rate than would otherwise be possible.

I help people track their actual or real limitations (not the ones that may SEEM like the issue – we get to the real and definable core), remove them, reprogram their subconscious and their whole life with the opposite quality or qualities and move on. We establish tools, processes and attitudes which will feed them for a lifetime.

For services and pricing: please contact me directly. At the moment, I still work full time with combat vets, but my coaching practice is growing fast and soon, I will make the switch. Which means pricing, processes and offers will continue to grow and change.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Don’t be impotent.

Don’t just keep collecting information. Never doing action.

I have been blessed to work with a bunch of super soldiers (special forces/seal types), people from all the alphabet agencies, high octane achievers – and one thing I’ve learned – intelligent people can be great or terrible to work with. Some of them just love knowledge so much they just consume and consume and consume and float their way to small successes. When others, they use their mind to discern what is really worth their time learning and then IMPLEMENTING and ACTIONING on.

I love learning. I’m a life-long learning. But I prescribe: be heavy on action.

Look at me for an example: if I weren’t heavy on actioning, I would have never, as a former Infantry Officer, Former Deputy, gone out and proclaimed energy healing as central to my practice. But I did. And I failed, a lot, at first. But failure is another way to say learning. I learned how to provide my services better. I got over not being in the mainstream of coaching services. And I been able to impact literally thousands of lives.

You are powerful. You are capable. Success is closer than you think. Your next breakthrough is closer than you think. You can do this. You will this. You are doing this.

Meanwhile, enjoy being awesome!
