Today we’d like to introduce you to Nichole Jeans.

Hi Nichole, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have been an LMT since 2009. I worked for a few chains and small companies and didn’t like how the employees or clients were treated. I moved back to MO from NY in 2020 in the middle of the Pandemic. I wanted to continue being an LMT, but it was hard. I started as a mobile service, but with the Pandemic, I didn’t feel as safe as if they came to me. I looked around and found the perfect place in Kirkwood, MO. I knew what I wanted my suite to look like, the feel, and the vibe. I know how I want to feel when I go into certain places, and that’s what I did. My number one goal is always customer service. I wanted each client to feel like this was their time! I do small things like each client getting a welcoming card and mint, water, and snacks, and each client gets hot towels. I customize each session to the client’s needs. I take pride in being an LMT and my business. I know my clients notice it, and they enjoy it. And that brings me joy.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
In the beginning, it was great, even with the Pandemic. It all has been great. But I do have some ups and downs months. The biggest challenge, I would say, is marketing. I have to market myself and your business. It can be challenging in this type of business because you’re small and just starting. With this kind of business, the best marketing has come from word of mouth from previous clients and reviews.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Massage Hands?
My main focus for every client is customer service. I want them to walk out of my suite feeling amazing. They know that their session is customized to their needs. What sets me aside from other places is that each client gets a welcoming card, mints, snacks, water, and hot towels. I also give clients personalized Birthday cards or Anniversary cards. I want my clients to know that I put in time and effort To make sure they are comfortable from the time they book their appointment until I walk them to the door at the end of their session. My specialty is Swedish Massage. 90% of my client’s request is for a Swedish Massage. This is my signature because it lets me work with the mind, body, and soul. I also offer Deep Tissue, Body Scrubs, Sports Massages, Stretching Sessions, and more. I have a 5-star rating, and that makes me Proud daily! That alone keeps me motivated. In this day and age of reviews, that is a big accomplishment for Massage Hands.

What makes you happy?
What makes me happy? It starts with me. I take care of myself first. I go to the nail shop every two weeks. I get massages monthly; grooming is a big part of the business. I keep myself up, making myself better for my clients. I love to eat, travel, and swim, which keeps me grounded. I am really big on family. My family has been some of the biggest supporters from day one.
