Life & Work with Juneice Bracely Wesley of Florissant

Today we’d like to introduce you to Juneice Bracely Wesley.

Hi Juneice, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I got started in 2016. I originally was in nursing school but wasn’t happy, so I dropped out. I always knew I wanted to do something that involved fitness but wasn’t sure exactly what it was. 2015 I started to google things that involve fitness and ran across a school Called Missouri college in STL. They had classes for fitness trainers, so the next day, I applied. I got to where I am now with my business partner Michael Douglas who started off ass my trainer in 2015 and became my business partner in 2016. We both had similar plans about opening a gym in our community and pushed each other to make that happen. We opened our first gym on April 14, 2016, and we’ve been rocking since then.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been fairly smooth?
No. It has not been a smooth road at all. Some of the struggles we’re getting our name out there. Learning different business strategies. Branding. Marketing. We were learning our audience from gender to age. Investing money we didn’t have but decided to give it our all. Everything we bought was pocket money. No loans nor grants. Coming up with different ideas to catch people’s attention. So much more l.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a certified personal fitness trainer and an herbalist. I help people achieve their goes of fitness and health by educating them on the importance of eating healthy and working out. Also, help them turn fitness into a lifestyle instead of a temporary fitness goal. I am most proud that I didn’t give up. There were many ups and downs and times that I wanted to give up but didn’t. One thing that sets me apart from others is don’t matter how many times I fail. I will always learn from that fall and get back up and try it a different way until I have exhausted all my options.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
A lot. Collaborate, I want to say at good 20. Support a lot. My biggest support be my clients and the ones I don’t know.
