Meet Jeremy Hicks

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Hicks.

Hi Jeremy, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I handle everything from Marketing to Ticketing for a venue management group: Marathon Live which has been hired to manage the new event space & concert hall coming to St. Louis, called: The Hawthorn.

It will be a large, open concept and versatile space with a rich and storied character that allows each event client to interpret the space as a blank canvas for their event vision. Set to open this Fall!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
There are always challenges along the way when opening a new venue but we are doing our best to take them in stride. We’re just excited to be a part of the St. Louis community!

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Hawthorn?
We love the storied character of our building.

Its wide-open floor plan really allows each event client to bring their vision to life. Downtown West St. Louis is also such a great neighborhood. We felt that a versatile event space with lots of character and more space seemed like a great way for us to contribute to the already thriving community.

The beauty of the space is its versatility. It’s equally suited for weddings, holiday parties, fundraising events, corporate functions, and more. A full-size stage and the highest quality production (lighting & audio) are also available for event clients and we can’t wait to host a myriad of different events and concerts!

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Being an asset to our community is at the top of our priority list. If we can provide a space that fills a need for St. Louis, that will indicate success for us.
