Meet Rebecca Meredith

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca Meredith.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey is ever-so-evolving. I was raised in this area, went away for my Health Studies Bachelor’s degree at Eastern Illinois and back home for my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. I’ve worked in many settings as an OT but gradually shifted into a PRN schedule to care for my kids and kick start my yoga teaching journey. I received my 200 RYT in 2019 and prenatal/postnatal certification in 2021. I decided to start my motherhood blogging journey about a year ago.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
What road is smooth!? It’s definitely been a journey, but a chaotic, exhausting, fun one!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m beginning to delve into private yoga/whole health sessions. From prenatal to postnatal to beginner to aging client, I love to work with each person from a personalized one-on-one approach. In a world of insurance and high-stress demands of our health care system, I want to focus my attention on each individual person. I love writing for my blog, which is also transitioning into something new and exciting! I am passionate about advocating and raising awareness for mamas and their journey and whole health prevention for all!

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
Recently I read Biology is Belief, Wild Feminine, and love to listen to The Birth Kweens and follow The Functional Pelvis.
