Rising Stars: Meet Blair Dreams

Today we’d like to introduce you to Blair Dreams.

Hi Blair, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have always loved music and various forms of art. As I got in high school, I played around in different studios like shock city. I never thought I would take music this seriously though. I found that I could use my music as a form of therapy. Almost like a getaway from everyday life. So, it’s been five years of me putting my all into my craft and even the ideas and fashion I use in videos and pictures.

I have managed to network with other artists in my cities like Nikee Turbo, Rahli, Ben Luke, and Kool. I have also worked with Juan Shot Me, Vickmont, and Director Fonzi for my videography. I can honestly say I have surprised myself at times, with how creative I can get and how hard I try to reach my goals but I’m still at the beginning of a journey that’s not easy to complete.

I just have to keep pushing and dropping heat. None of this would be possible or meaningful without my fans, family, and gang

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been smooth but I am very good at adjusting to the situation. First of building a fan base and getting your music to the right people’s ears is a challenge but I’m making progress. I have a Zaytoven beat because I stayed persistent in my pursuit to reach new heights in my music career.

Also, completing two videos in Hawaii was a handful especially while covid was going on. But it was a success. Not to mention nothing is cheap!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a rapper/songwriter and author I also am working on my singing skills. I am proud of my song’s lyrics and how versatile I am as an artist. My vision in my videos and different styles of music sets me apart.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
I would say don’t give up and stay creative try new things. Remember to focus on building your brand and fan base.
