Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Schepis.
Hi Maria, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I have been a nurse for 17 years 11 of those years as a nurse practitioner. I started my career out in the ICU and went on to further my education to become a nurse practitioner. As a nurse practitioner, I worked in pain management and critical care telemedicine. I have always loved all things beauty and have always wanted to be a nurse injector. I was at a point in my career where I was feeling burned out and did not want to look back later have regrets that I never tried to pursue my dream career. So, I started taking classes and learning everything I could and became a certified nurse injector. I was then introduced to Jamie Smith and was given the opportunity to join GLO Facial Rejuvenation. From there I started Beautifully You Aesthetics.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
There are always obstacles in life especially when opening a new business. But I feel those obstacles have helped me learn and grow to become a better business owner. While it has not been a smooth road I wouldn’t change a thing

Beautifully You Aesthetics specializes in aesthetic medicine. I provide cosmetic injectables, chemical peels, microneedling, and medical grade skin care. I have 3 convenient locations, Inked Beauty Bar in midtown, Skin and Body Bar in sunset hills, and About Faces in Ballwin. My goal is to provide natural-looking results while focusing on safety and educating my clients on the aging process. I love being able to help clients enhance their natural beauty and give them that confidence boost.

Success is having the courage and determination to do something you love every day.
