Rising Stars: Meet Tekneshia Day

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tekneshia Day.

Hi Tekneshia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Yes, I seriously got started on this journey when I saw no other way out, meaning I was tired of going from paycheck to paycheck. Tired of telling my daughters, who are now 15, no. It hurts. My husband is disabled and been that way since 2008. The workload has been on me for years now. I always been in and out of network marketing for years, but they never felt right.

Until March 2018, I was approached about an opportunity that definitely sparks fire in me. My credit sucked. What makes it so bad, I never had thought about my credit until I actually needed it. Know how that goes. But I took a leap and faith and got started on that journey as well as making money. Making money was the factor because at that time, I was waitressing for Marriott Atlanta Airport. I was tired of missing birthdays, Christmas, and any other events. I knew in the back of my mind Mr. Marriott was not missing any of those things. It was time for a change. I am not where I want or need to be, but it feels good to know that food can be out on the table and bills can be paid.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has not always been a smooth road. The problem with being your own boss is that you are your own boss. You control your time. See, this is why I always say it is just like a job. If you don’t work it, you don’t get a paycheck. At times, I want to give you but then I look at my why. My children and husband are mine why. I never want them to feel less of themselves. I really don’t even want my children to work a job. I have played around so much at times, and when I say that, I mean letting my job get in my way. I have had times where I received eviction notices or my lights were turned off. No child should see that. But they won’t see anymore because I will keep striving and everyone will know what I do.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I help people with financial solutions. I help empower people to get in good financial shape. So, that means you will be assisted with getting your credit restored, making sure people and their family is taken care of in case of an unexpected death. I am mostly known for helping people get their credit restored.

I am proud of the fact I can get a peace of mind knowing someone is able to get approved for their home or car or that their family won’t have to worry about doing a GoFundMe account to pay for burial. What sets me apart from others are the services offered with our credit restoration program is not like any other. We give so much for hardly any arm and leg cost. Some of the services offered are credit attorney, budgeting, identity monitoring, will and trust just to name a few. There is much more

What does success mean to you?
Success is teamwork. You have to have mentors, coaches, personal development and be hungry, willing, and coachable. It is about being accountable but being real with yourself!
