Hi Kimberly, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My business name is K’wayy Food&Drinks, I began my work dealing with drinks I had just had my first son damonte in 2016 and usually you have to be on bedrest but I just couldn’t sit down so I began to brainstorm and I came up with a drink idea made with (capri sun) pouches, I searched online for the pouches , and how to bartend and make different types of drinks. Over the years I became better with my style and perfecting my craft, received a few certificates, my llc all my business needs and I begin to cook in 2021 and would make food and drink combinations and here I am 2025 ready for a food truck or small business to expand over the years!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting a business is never really smooth, I have had ups and downs, not with just my business but with customers, having clientele, making sure everything meets the customers expectations

I specialize in food and drinks, I’m very known around the area for my food and my drinks that I make. I’m most proud of me just keeping my head straight and never really giving up even with the hard days and the days of me making $10 or $500 I never gave up! What sets me apart from others would be my personality and how much my customers love the joy I bring to them and the soul and hard work I put in my business!
