Hi Anna, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
The Derm Bar STL is a performance beauty company designed to offer our clients the best quality aesthetic service with proven results. Our medical aesthetic services are paired with an elite staff that provide insight and experience of skin conditions as well as a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology of skin.
I created my business model from my passion for healthy skin as well as my experience in working with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, family care practitioners and other cosmetic beauty specialists.
This means we can offer you the most effective medical-grade treatments with a thorough understanding of how your treatments will work on your skin and the proper home care for long-term results.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth ride!
I have worked very hard to expand my knowledge and experience in the medical aspect of skin care. Throughout that journey, I have learned clinically proven ways to advance my treatments that I offer that previous employers were not always on board with.
I had struggled to find the right fit for me and the freedom to perform services in a manner that would get my clients better results faster.
After much trial and error, I have finally found my home in creating The Derm Bar STL and the support to give my clients the treatments they deserve.

Our specialty is addressing Skin concerns both internally and externally, and finding what works for our clients!
Most of what we do is combination therapy which utilizes different modalities in the treatment room instead of a cookie cutter treatment.
With a very small staff, we like to call ourselves “tiny but mighty!”
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Find people with passion for their profession and the willingness to succeed and take them with you.
