Today we’d like to introduce you to Karen Korn
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my career in sales in the corporate world. My third child was diagnosed with cancer when she was 5 months old and on the day of her diagnosis, I quit my job. I loved working and I knew I wanted to go back to work when my daughter was healthy enough and do something I loved. When she was two and doing well, I started design school. I grew up in a home that was designed by a professional interior designer and loved being surrounded by beauty and comfort. Also, during the time I was home with my daughter, I realized that having a well designed and livable home has a great impact on our mental health.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I have loved the process of starting and growing my business. Every day I go to work with gratitude that I get to do something I feel passionate about. I have the privilege of designing my clients’ sacred spaces. They trust me to guide them through the transformational process. They not only get a beautiful and functional home, they get to live in a space that speaks to their heart and soul.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I have learned is to be open to change. We are constantly evolving and changing our processes to meet the needs of our clients and contractors.
