Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Galantowicz
Hi Jennifer, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey has been one of continuous learning and a deep commitment to building meaningful relationships. While my career began in the senior care sector, where I spent nearly two decades understanding and addressing the unique needs of families and patients, I’ve always been drawn to the power of technology to solve complex problems.
The transition to TDK Technologies was a natural evolution, allowing me to leverage my ability to deeply understand client challenges and translate them into strategic solutions, answering the question “what business problem are we trying to solve and why?”. I found a passion for helping businesses align their technology needs with their core business goals, empowering them to achieve measurable results. I’m especially proud to be part of TDK Technologies, a woman-owned firm, where I’m surrounded by innovative thinkers and dedicated professionals.
Beyond my professional life, I’m driven by a desire to make a positive impact on my community. My involvement with NAMI St. Louis, where I serve on the Board of Directors and co-chair NAMIWalks St. Louis, reflects my commitment to mental health awareness and support.
My story is one of connecting people, solving problems, and driving positive change. Whether it’s helping a client navigate a complex technology landscape or advocating for mental health awareness, I believe in the power of empathy, collaboration, and strategic thinking to create a better future.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
While my journey has been incredibly rewarding, it hasn’t always been without its challenges. Transitioning from the senior care sector to the world of technology required a steep learning curve. I had to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and adapt to a new industry landscape. However, I embraced the challenge, leveraging my strong communication and relationship-building skills to bridge the gap.
The technology industry is constantly evolving, presenting a continuous challenge to stay ahead of the curve. Keeping pace with new innovations, understanding emerging trends, and adapting to changing client needs requires a commitment to lifelong learning. I’ve found that by actively seeking out new information, participating in industry events, and engaging in continuous professional development, I’ve been able to navigate this ever-changing landscape and and thrive in my role.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At TDK Technologies, I serve as a Business Development Manager, specializing in building strategic client relationships and aligning technology solutions with core business objectives. Using a consultative approach, translating often complex technical concepts into clear business cases, and my dedication to understanding and addressing clients’ critical needs. I pride myself on being a trusted advisor, fostering open communication, and building strong partnerships that empower clients to leverage technology effectively.
What I’m most proud of is my ability to build lasting relationships with clients and help them solve complex business problems. I believe that technology is a tool for driving positive change, and I’m passionate about helping businesses to achieve their goals. I find great satisfaction in seeing clients succeed and knowing that I’ve played a role in their growth.
What sets me apart is my unique blend of experience from the senior care sector and the technology industry. This background has given me a deep understanding of the importance of empathy, communication, and relationship-building – skills that are essential for success in any field. I also believe my passion for helping others, both professionally and through my community involvement with NAMI St. Louis, sets me apart. I bring a human-centered approach to my work, prioritizing collaboration, understanding, and genuine connection. I enjoy networking with other leaders, and learning how they are innovating, and helping others through technology. Advocating for and lifting up women in technology and business in general also is an area I find rewarding – and such a group or tribe which I have benefited from personally. I love to bring that knowledge back to my team, and my clients
What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is making a positive impact and sharing knowledge, sharing what you know with others to help them. This principle drives both my professional and personal endeavors.
In my work at TDK Technologies, this translates to building strong, trust-based relationships with clients and helping them solve critical business challenges through technology. Seeing clients succeed and knowing that I’ve played a role in their growth is incredibly rewarding.
Outside of work, my commitment to making a difference is evident in my involvement with NAMI St. Louis. Mental health awareness and support are issues that are deeply important to me, and I’m passionate about creating a community where everyone feels supported and understood. Serving on the Board of Directors and co-chairing NAMIWalks St. Louis allows me to contribute to this important cause and make a tangible impact on the lives of individuals and families.
Ultimately, I believe that life is about connection, collaboration, and using our skills and resources to make the world a better place. Whether it’s helping a client navigate a complex technology landscape or advocating for mental health awareness, or helping a friend or colleauge with something seemingly small that has an impact on them or for them, I’m driven by a desire to create positive change and leave a lasting legacy of impact
