A few years ago, I transitioned from working on an inpatient Antepartum unit as a registered nurse to entering the field of aesthetics. It was during my time at a local medspa that I discovered my passion for laser hair removal and saw firsthand how these treatments could truly enhance someone’s comfort and confidence. That experience lit a spark in me—a desire to create a space where safety, comfort, and confidence aren’t just priorities, but the foundation of everything we do.
That vision led me to open INTI Laser Medspa. I wanted to build more than just a place for treatments—I wanted to create a welcoming environment where clients could feel genuinely cared for and trust that they’re in the best hands. Every decision I make, from the technology I use to the way I interact with clients, centers around creating a safe and empowering experience. Watching people walk out feeling more confident in their skin is why I do what I do. I am truly living my dream!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road—starting a business comes with its challenges, and I expected that. One of the biggest hurdles was building trust as a new business, even though I wasn’t new to doing laser hair removal.
But when you start something of your own, it feels like you’re starting fresh in a way—reintroducing yourself and your work to the community. That part was hard. I’ve always put safety, comfort, and care first, and I just hoped that would come through to the people who walked through my door.
Little by little, through genuine connections, word of mouth, and staying true to my values, I started building that trust. It’s been a journey full of learning and growth, and while it’s had its tough moments, it’s also been incredibly rewarding. I’m so grateful for the clients who believed in me from the beginning and continue to support me today.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Favorite childhood memory might not be easy to pinpoint, because truthfully, my entire childhood was challenging. I didn’t grow up with a lot of support, and for a long time, I had to figure things out on my own. But those years shaped me—they built resilience, sparked drive, and created a deep desire to build something better.
That difficult start instilled in me a strong sense of empathy and determination. It’s why I pour so much of my heart into my work now. I wanted to create a space where people could feel safe, cared for, and truly seen—something I longed for back then. Every challenge I went through became motivation to rise above, and to help others feel beautiful, confident, and supported.
