Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Jay Grosman

Jay Grosman shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Jay, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
My first 90 minutes each day follow a set routine that keeps me grounded and focused. I start by drinking a cup of water, then I affirm why I love myself and list what I’m grateful for. I recite my “I am” statements to program my mind, then pray for iAutoAgent, Elevating Business Solutions, my family, and my friends. After that, I spend 10 minutes meditating on a current challenge or area where I want to improve, like energy or mindfulness. I review my visualization board to reinforce the life I’m designing, then read for 5 to 10 minutes on something that interests me, often AI. I follow that with five minutes of journaling, then get my blood flowing with light exercise such as air squats. On Mondays and Tuesdays, I add a 30-minute treadmill walk before drinking a protein shake. Only then do I start checking emails, making sure to avoid text messages before meditation or before bed so I don’t allow negative input into my mind, especially during the early theta brain state after waking.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Jay Grosman, CEO and Founder of iAutoAgent and Elevating Business Solutions. At iAutoAgent, we act as a personal car concierge, helping people buy and sell vehicles with complete transparency, safety, and profitability, without the hassle of doing it themselves. We’re not a dealership, so our clients get a personalized, end-to-end service that saves time and maximizes value.

With Elevating Business Solutions, I work with business owners generating \$250K or more to streamline their operations, implement AI, and scale without hiring large teams. What makes my approach unique is that I’ve built and scaled my own companies from the ground up, so I teach from real experience, not theory. I focus on creating processes and systems that free up time, reduce stress, and increase profitability.

Right now, I’m working on expanding iAutoAgent’s VIP membership program, refining our sales processes, and building AI-driven tools that help entrepreneurs run their companies more efficiently. Everything I do is centered on helping people achieve more with less effort, whether that’s getting the best deal on a car or transforming the way they run their business.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
My dad taught me the most about work. He spent over 40 years in retail furniture sales and became the top salesperson in the country. His dedication to providing for our family and giving us what he didn’t have growing up was unmatched. His energy was incredible, he would run everywhere, and I remember him jumping on couches to demonstrate them to customers. Watching his passion and commitment inspired me to bring the same drive and resilience into my own career. In a completely different industry, selling cars, I became the top salesperson everywhere I worked and built a reputation as a legend in the field.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self that the only way we truly grow is through pain and failures. We do not grow when everything is going well and we are successful. As hard as it is when you are going through it, those moments teach your brain and train it to know that you can get through anything that is thrown at you.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
The cultural value I protect at all costs is integrity. I do not like when people say they will do something and then fail to follow through. I hold myself and others to a very high standard of keeping commitments and simply doing the right thing. Integrity is at the core of how I live and work.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
The story I hope people tell about me when I am gone is that I was an amazing human being who always tried to help others and made them feel good about themselves. I want them to remember that I was funny, talented, and smart, a good businessman who always had their best interests in mind. I hope they say I was a good father who was always there for my kids and a husband who was always there for my wife.
