Hi Katie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I am a Women’s Health Nurse practitioner. My nursing career has primarily been in high risk maternal fetal medicine as a bedside nurse and then as a provider in the clinic setting. About 8 years into my nursing career an opportunity to train in aesthetic injections became available to me. I was fairly new to the aesthetic world and had just started on my own journey receiving sporadic toxin & dermal filler treatments at a well known med spa. I was interested to learn more and loved the idea of being able to provide these services to other women like myself. I knew how much these services had helped to improve my confidence and made me feel my best, but had cost me a significant amount and at times left me feeling guilty. I did not know at the time that I would be able to change that for other women. That I was going to help women feel beautiful and confident without the huge hit to their budget. That’s what I pride my business in, beauty on a budget. Bringing luxury injections to the working class.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My business has grown slowly and organically almost solely by word of mouth referrals from happy clients. My focus has always been geared towards providing services that help my clients feel their best and ensuring that each client is satisfied with each service. Happy clients are the best marketing so focusing on client care over a dollar sign has been a business strategy that worked best for me
