Today we’d like to introduce you to KeAunia Brooks.

Hi KeAunia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is KeAunia (K). I am a self taught/still learning baker currently living in St. Louis, MO. I began baking in 2017; officially establishing baKed by K in 2020, which has been set out to provide sophisticated customized cakes and confectionery catering at a reasonable price. Because with baKed by K, I believe you deserve to “Have your cake and eat it too!”

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Finances and time management have been the hardest struggles.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Confectionery catering. Professionally providing sweet treats/baked goods for all events and special occasions.
I am nowhere near where I want to be but I am farther than where I used to be.

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
