Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelly Gilbert.
Hi Kelly, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was bitten by the travel bug early; a trip to New York City when I was in 3rd grade–seeing St. Louisan Grace Bumbry on the stage at the Metropolitan Opera made me want to be both a singer and a world traveler–and have been planning travel for myself and others ever since. My mother was gracious enough to allow me to take the lead on many of our travel plans, and by the time I was in college, I was working for a retail travel agency while I continued my studies. My career in World Language education afforded me opportunities to travel in the summers and to plan cultural exchange travel for my students, and some of my most wonderful memories are of watching my students use their language to connect deeply with others in Spanish-speaking countries. I went back to professional travel planning in 2022, and have planned travel all over the world since. It’s my greatest joy to chat with my clients after they return, hearing all about their travels.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When I first started my travel agency, I was focused on family travel to Disney, Universal, and Caribbean cruises, because I was in a school setting during the day. I’m a Disney nerd, and people naturally came to me for advice. While I enjoyed helping my friends, I wasn’t challenged by that kind of travel. I was hungry for more culture, deeper exploration, and clients who are curious about the world. I started to focus more energy on those kinds of trips and the business slowly turned around. I’m much more comfortable now with my clientele, who share my love of culture and openness to being changed by travel.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Enchantment for Everyone Travel?
I design journeys that celebrate culture, art, and authentic experiences. Whether it’s attending opera at the Vienna State Opera, exploring world-class museums in Florence or Madrid, following Mozart’s footsteps through Salzburg, savoring regional cuisine, or uncovering hidden gems off the beaten path, I make it effortless.
From customized itineraries to curated cruises and guided tours, I handle every detail so my clients can simply enjoy the journey.
I love helping and serving my clients, even when I’m up at 3 am dealing with flight cancellations. While anyone can book travel online, the service of curating the correct choices, creating custom itineraries, and minimizing travel friction is what I do best.

My family not only inspired me, but continue to be my biggest cheerleaders and advocates. I’m so grateful to have their support.
