Meet LOGAN ABDO of I’m in Greensboro NC

Today we’d like to introduce you to LOGAN ABDO.

Hi LOGAN, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started doing music at the age of 14 as a drummer for a band that didn’t really go anywhere. Then at 17 I started a new band that I took more seriously but my health conditions at the time kept the band from truly becoming something special. In the midst of all that I created Lo as an outlet to still play shows and make new music and that morphed into over 100 shows all over NC, SC, VA, TN and GA some big some small but I’ve come a long way.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Some parts are smoother than others. When I’m not in the hospital and I’m on my grind it can be easy if everything goes to plan

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a metalcore/trap metal artist I scream, sing, rap, and write my OWN lyrics off the top of my head. One of the songs I’m most proud of is called Lazarus Rising it’s the most accessible and flavorful song of my entire catalogue so far. What sets me apart from others is not just the external stuff but I have a drive and passion to be the best that I can be in this music world.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
How I see risks is like this. When you do something hard and it pays off that’s the ultimate success story. I’ve definitely taken major risk on bigger shows before and even shows that are farther out and I always come back okay so as long as I can keep hopping trains and greyhounds until something cool happens I’ll keep going.
