Today we’d like to introduce you to Latadzja Ferguson.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was about 9 years old… in my childhood I had some friends who stayed on the same street as me who knew how to braid. They name were Ashley and Zondra… They both were pretty girls who were very talented at what they do.. By going to their houses and watch them I started learning things myself… Also just being around my cousin Sherrie Ferguson who was a big time hairstylist in the industry I was also learning from her to as well. I recently just graduated cosmetology school and every day I’m still learning and growing.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No it hasn’t been a smooth road… being a entrepreneur comes with having a lot of faith… some setbacks… some of the struggles just relying on myself to do it all on my own. After my grandma passed away who was my support system I been trying to find ways to grow in my career to take care of my family.

I braid hair, I also do other styles to as well I am a very talented hairstylist. What sets me apart is my prices are very affordable. I am proud that all my clients are satisfied after seeing their hair.
