Hi Amy, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Amy and Harley are the sweetest mother-daughter due and the owners of Petaled Pail and Company! Amy is an entrepreneur at heart and Petaled Pail & Company is her vision. After her corporate job was outsourced and she spent years at a desk that provided minimal fulfillment, she decided that she needed to choose courage and happiness for a new chapter. And so began Petaled Pail & Company in 2016 and this journey that we are on! Harley is a 2018 North Carolina State University graduate, now working alongside her mom. Together, we are curators with a love for details and designing beautiful wedding days that tell love stories, and providing all involved with an unforgettable elevated experience. Every design by Petaled Pail & Co. whether a simple centerpiece or a large scale wedding day, is created with its purpose in mind so we’re sure to provide you with the most beautiful result and the best experience possible!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth, straight road, but looking back, we’re so grateful for the bumps in the road, they really shaped who we are today! When the pandemic hit and all our events were suddenly canceled, it was definitely a challenge, but it pushed us to get creative. We pivoted to focus on everyday flower orders and subscriptions, which ended up being such a beautiful new chapter for us. That experience gave us the confidence to take the big leap from working out of our home studio to opening our very own storefront in downtown Edwardsville, IL. Transitioning to a physical shop was a whole new adventure, but having a space where we can connect with our community and dream up new designs has made every bit of that journey worth it.

Beyond weddings, we offer bespoke corporate floral solutions, including lobby installations, subscription based arrangements, and full-scale event production to help businesses enhance their brand presence and boost employee morale. We’re also dedicated to celebrating the everyday, bringing fresh, seasonal blooms to our local community through our weekly flower bar at our storefront and “Buttercup,” our beloved flower truck.
