Today we’d like to introduce you to Samuel Choe.
Hi Samuel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I got into content creating pretty much since high school. I really focused on it during the lock downs with COVID going on. I wanted to make people laugh with my commentary during shows like Law & Order, Real Housewives, etc, it took off really quick. Soon I was making connections left and right on TikTok. Then I was hit with those TikTok account deletions. So I had to start over but now I pivot to YouTube shorts, Facebook, and snapchat.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s always a struggle rebuilding a social media account. It takes a while or 24 hours for your content to go viral. You just have to find the right niche. Fortunately for me I love pop culture, K-Pop, Disney, Universal Studios.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I love creating content from shopping hauls, my vlogs of solo traveling, K-Pop concerts, outfits, etc. even recapping episodes of real housewives. Because of my experience working for Warner Records I have this marketing background to research first to see what works.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was always talkative. Still am, just a bit mature. A little bit lol. However I’m more a balance of extrovert and introvert. I’m not about to vibe with somebody if there energy doesn’t mix with mine. I’m an adult, not everyone is going to able to like or handle you, so…just keep it cordial and keep it passing.
