Meet Ousmane Diallo of yessalguiThioune event’s &co

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ousmane Diallo.

Hi Ousmane, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Déclic Wear was born out of an overflowing passion. While running a thrift shop, I would take pieces of clothing that I cut myself and hand them over to a tailor near my shop. Gradually, I started designing and wearing my own models. The journey was not easy coming from a modest family.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest obstacle was the lack of financial means, which is inevitable when growing up in a modest family. Without solid financial support, every step—sourcing materials, finding a good tailor, buying equipment, or simply getting noticed—was a constant struggle. I had to be resourceful, turn the little I had into an opportunity, and push forward despite self-doubt and closed doors. But it is precisely this precariousness that forged my resilience and fueled my determination to succeed.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
“Over the next 5 to 10 years, I foresee a profound transformation in our industry, driven primarily by the acceleration of automation, the integration of artificial intelligence, and an increased demand for sustainability and environmental responsibility. Companies will need to demonstrate agility to adapt to customer expectations that are increasingly personalized and digital-first. Additionally, the transition to hybrid and collaborative working models will continue to redefine talent management and operational efficiency.”
