Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Ramey.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born and raised in St. Louis – grew up sinin and dancin at The Muny (Muny kid, teen and equity member), moved to NYC to pursue theatre and worked as a performer all over the nation. Then I moved to LA and became an award winning screen writer, producer and executive producer. Now, I’m back home in St. Louis where I co-own Here at Home Healthcare which provides in-home care in and around the St. Louis area.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
A smooth road??? LOL – no. But I’m built for the mud. “No losses, only lessons” is a bit of a mantra of mine that turns rough times into a lesson learned. Life is filled with change – once you realize that, you get to wake up to today’s adventure.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
“No losses, only lessons” is prominent one.
“Everyone’s normal is different” is a good one that keeps me out of a lot of trouble.
“Everything is the same only a little different” is a good one too.
