Check Out Nicole Zimmer’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Zimmer.

Nicole, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My love of photography began when I was much younger. I always loved to get out the old photo albums and look through them. Each photo told a story and it was a timeline in photos . As I got older I always enjoyed taking photos but I always discovered I had a good eye to capture the right moment. My husband bought me my first digital camera in 2019 and I explored my love for photographing beautiful landscapes. Any moment that I thought was beautiful I’d take a photo . And one day a friend of mine asked if I’d take photos of her daughters. I watched her girls grow in photos and seeing this helped me to grow as a photographer. I’ve been photographing families , events and individual sessions such as seniors, prom, graduation and headshots for business owners. Each photo session I did was capturing a memory for someone they will have forever . With each person I photographed their lives told a story . I would probably go ahead and trade my full-time job for my passion of photography in a heartbeat. It’s my one true joy and passion that I enjoy doing for other people. I love creating a timeless and classic look for my clients that they can keep forever. I put a lot of time and effort into my work and always deliver the best photographs to my clients!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being a photographer has not been a smooth road. Sometimes it’s hard when I’m already working a full-time job then I’m trying to work and do what I love so much during the weekday evenings and weekends . It can be a lot, but there is something to be said for when I’m actually in the moment and doing a photo session or photographing an event. I kind of just get lost in the moment and it makes my heart happy knowing I’m creating memories for someone else!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a photographer and my business name is NicoleMarie Photography LLC . I mostly specialize in photographing families, events and individual sessions such as headshots for business, seniors and prom . I kind of do a little bit of everything , but if I had to pick what my favorite is, it would be photographing families. I am most proud of the finished product of my work once I deliver it to my families! I love seeing my happy clients! I feel like what sets me apart from others is making the photo session about the other person and making them feel unique! I like to make sure each one of my sessions are laid back , and I allow my clients to relax and have fun!

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I would like to start offering more services, such as prints and photo albums. I’d also like to be able to add a day during the week I can open for booking sessions so clients have an option for weekdays during the day .
