Check Out North Enderle’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to North Enderle.

Hi North, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My story has never been a straight line. I grew up moving around a lot, spending a large part of my childhood in foster care and experiencing things that shaped the way I see the world. Those experiences gave me a perspective that I carry into everything I create today. Music became an outlet for me — a way to process life, tell my story, and connect with people who have gone through their own struggles. I started creating music years ago, experimenting with different sounds and learning every part of the process, from writing and recording to producing and building a brand around my vision. Over time, that journey evolved into NO16k — more than just a name, but a representation of growth, transformation, and turning difficult chapters into something meaningful. Through music, clothing, visuals, and community, my goal has always been to create something people can connect with. I’ve had songs reach hundreds of thousands of streams, built a small but passionate audience, and continued pushing forward as an independent artist and creator. I’m still in the early stages of the journey, but everything I’ve experienced has helped shape the person and artist I am today. NO16k is about showing that your past doesn’t have to define where you end up — it can become the foundation for what you build next.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. A lot of my journey has been built through adversity. Growing up in foster care, constantly having to adapt to new environments, and going through periods where I didn’t really know where I belonged shaped me in ways that still influence my music today. There have also been personal battles along the way — struggles with identity, addiction, relationships, and trying to find my purpose while building something from nothing. There were times where it would have been easier to walk away from music and creating altogether. The hardest part wasn’t just chasing a dream; it was learning how to believe I was capable of achieving it. Building as an independent artist means wearing every hat — creating the music, learning the business, developing the brand, and finding people who genuinely connect with the vision. Looking back, the struggles became a major part of the reason I create. I don’t want people to only hear songs or see a brand — I want them to see a story of someone who went through difficult chapters and still chose to keep building.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m an independent artist, producer, and creator. Most of what I do revolves around music, storytelling, and finding ways to connect with people through things I’ve experienced in my own life. I started making music because it was an outlet for me. It gave me a way to express things I didn’t always know how to say out loud. Over time, I started learning every part of the process — writing, recording, producing, creating visuals, and understanding what it takes to build something from the ground up. A lot of my music comes from real experiences. I’ve always wanted people to hear my songs and feel like they aren’t alone in whatever they’re going through. Whether it’s struggles, relationships, growth, or trying to find yourself, I want my music to have a purpose beyond just entertainment. I’m also proud of the fact that I’ve been able to build independently. I’ve had songs reach hundreds of thousands of streams without a major label behind me, and I’ve been able to create a community of people who genuinely connect with what I’m doing. What I think sets me apart is that I’m not just focused on making music — I’m focused on building something bigger than myself. I’m constantly learning, creating, and trying to turn my experiences into something that can inspire someone else.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I think the most important quality that has helped me is persistence. I’ve had a lot of moments where it would have been easy to give up, whether that was because of personal struggles, setbacks, or feeling like I wasn’t moving as fast as I wanted to. I’ve learned that success doesn’t always come from being the most talented person in the room — sometimes it comes from being the person who keeps showing up and keeps improving. I’ve had to teach myself a lot along the way, from creating music to understanding the business side of things and building something independently. I’m also big on being honest with myself. I know I still have a lot to learn, but being willing to grow, adapt, and keep pushing forward has helped me get to where I am today. At the end of the day, I think staying committed to the vision even when things get difficult is what has carried me the furthest.
