Hi Andre, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started with nothing and a dream, using my phone, I wanted something to resign with my late cousin who passed a few years ago the name of Mental Rose Bond comes from trying to raise awareness of mental health problems around the world(Mental, and (Rose) comes from the cousin one of his favorite words, (Bond) is to bring the community/people together in all. How I got here is the focus that I’m putting into my company and being ambitious to achieve my goals. Gotta keep pushing yourself everyday and think positive about yourself and your work it might not work out as soon as possible and things can happen during the process so just keep your spirits up.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road the success at all, some of the troubles is timing and money mostly but also my own thoughts and productivity.
Time consuming because I have a daughter and still work somewhere else for a little extra income even work with my daughter she is 1yrs old so it’s a lot to try to get done for her and myself, which also comes to me having money I have her all the time while her mother works so sometimes I couldn’t go to work to make ends meet. In that order it gets hard because no money from work and basically full time fathering gets me out of focus to get the projects done on time or stops me from getting all the products I need at that time.
All in all save your money while you can even if you have a child/kids do your best to make their life the priority but also put yourself second from your children, when you have time make it work best way you can.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My work consists of funny memes of today’s time, everyday/upcoming games(gaming), and family sayings or events they want to promote for themselves. I do the designing and getting the products done.
I specialize in artworks and drawings if need be, im also known for a certain Rose I make myself hand draw most of my work is handmade but if not it’s computerized with the right tools.
I’m proud that I’ve even gotten noticed and/or people noticed my work from anywhere around the world, also proud of being a father trying to make a living for my daughter.
The thing that sets me apart from others is the commitment I put in I have no team nor friends helping me with anything I do/done so everything is done by me for the most part, also the concept I’m giving my designs and giving the people not like anyone similar can’t bring up the same reasons but I’m confident that some of my items/products sets a tone for people to see the constant consistency or awareness and silly bonding words to bring everyone together with funniness but also seriousness at the same time bring my family to the world with their words of wisdom or silly saying so.people could see the ends and outs of me.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
At the moment I’m on a hiatus from all apps, books and don’t listen to podcasts/Blogs if anything I have just started using AI generated apps to help with some designs like ChatGPTand MetaAI it helps place certain things in the right place when I’m in a rush. Any other apps I use would be YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook for gaming content I would want to use to reach the audience I’m trying to connect to and Facebook to see what some people are doing so I don’t intertwine my items/products with anyone else’s I love to be exclusively different from my competitors but to see ideas and make changes to what I see doesn’t hurt neither.
