Today we’d like to introduce you to Reginald Shanklin.
Hi Reginald, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started the I am Foundation Reach Out LLC in September of 2023 with the ideal of reaching out to help as many people as I can throughout the world I provide motivational speaking life coaching and support service. It is my vision to reach out to everyone boy girl man woman younger old to know that they are loved that they are valued and that their experiences is just as real as anyone else’s experience and to build a platform to help each individual know that their story count. I’m tired of others and myself being judged by who we are what we did what we may do how other people see us and on and on and on knowing that the only thing that matters is self. So I started this Foundation to help each individual know that they have a voice and that their voice is just as important as anybody else voice and nobody can tell your story like you can tell your story and that is the heart of the I am Foundation Reach Out. To give voices to build a platform for everyone to reach out to another for support. You don’t need a degree you don’t need special credentials to tell your story all you need is yourself and sharing what you have experienced no matter how old you are who you are or where you are.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road because when you start something off you are putting a spot in a pool of the world who does not know you so trying to make a name trying to establish yourself with the people it’s very crucial and starting a business no matter what business it may be so it has been hurdles people have shunned me people have not wanting to support what I am about but in order to establish yourself you first have to believe.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize insuring on my experience don’t have a degree for that it is my personal experiences that I experienced through life relationships of various abuses everyday life struggles peer pressure on the job site relationships and just in general of going through personal struggles that each and every one of us at individuals by going to go through and it’s going to be faced with as we continue by the grace of God to live. I specialize in motivating and inspiring other people to want to rise up above their situation their condition and their mindset by being a testimony and sharing with them what I’ve been through how I’m going through it what I’ve done to overcome to hope that it can build a hope within another to bring themselves true whatever they may be facing. My motto is it can always be worse!
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Most important lessons that I’ve learned is being unappreciative being ungrateful because I look at my situations and the things that I’m going through and I think I’m the only one that’s going through what I’m going through and I think that what I’m going through is the worst thing that anyone can ever experience and not realize it that what ever I went through and go through it can always be so I have been humbled to know that it takes an ounce of gratitude it takes an ounce of appreciation it takes an ounce of being thankful for I am at today compared to how it can be for me today.
