Conversations with Teela Davis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Teela Davis.

Hi Teela, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have always had a passion for event planning and coordinating. My journey began planning weddings and bridal showers. Overtime I expanded my services to include conferences, meetings, and other special events. The pandemic gave me plenty of time to reflect and brainstorm about positioning my business on a higher platform to out perform my previous successes within my business. On October 29, 2020, I “officially” launched my business and several months later held my first event under my business name, T. Davis Event Management. We have hosted several events including, but not limited to, a virtual couples yoga event titled “Love Connection”. Attendees spanned across the country including couples from California, Iowa, Florida, Illinois and Missouri. It was a huge success and I look forward to offering these types of events again very soon.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Our greatest struggle has been identifying vendors to accommodate every level of our clients diverse budget(s). We have learned a lot along the way. Those same challenges we’ve endured have empowered us to continue to grow in many areas of our business.

T. Davis Event Management is a full-service event management company specializing in planning, coordinating and event execution. We are known for taking our client’s vision to the next level by incorporating the five senses into providing a memorable experience. We provide top notch customer service and attention to even the smallest of details that make all the difference in setting our clients event apart from the next, and exceeding their expectations.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
A go-getter with an eye for detail and extremely organized with the ability to get things done! Execution is my super power.
